Harvard’s first scholarship fund was created in 1643 with a gift from Ann Radcliffe, Lady Mowlson. Financial needs are met through a combination of scholarships or loans. The financial aid package may cover up to 100 percent of tuition and expenses, depending on the degree of need. All financial aids are awarded on the basis of financial need and about 70% of Harvard undergraduates receive financial aid. The financial aid policies for foreign citizens are exactly the same as those for U.S. citizens.

Eligibility Criteria
1- Testing Information:
– The SAT or ACT with Writing, as well as two SAT Subject Tests. Students should not submit two Subject Tests in mathematics to meet this requirement. Candidates whose first language is not English should ordinarily not use a Subject Test in their first language to meet the two Subject Test requirements.
– In order for your application to be considered complete, the official test scores should be submitted directly to Harvard by the testing agency on your behalf. If they do not receive your official scores from the testing agency, they will be unable to make an admissions decision.
– While Harvard honors the College Board’s Score Choice program and allows you to submit tests taken as late as January for consideration, the students are advised to Regular Decision candidates to complete and submit at least one component of the required tests (SAT or ACT with Writing or two College Board Subject Tests) by the end of November. This will allow them to begin their evaluation process for those submitting applications by December 15.
– For Early Action candidates, the university hopes to receive all testing results by the end of October, but students are still eligible to apply using the November series. Those results will arrive in time for consideration without the need and expense of “rush reporting.”
2. Entry Requirements for Graduates
–Applicants who wish to pursue a degree at the Graduate School must hold the equivalent of a US bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an institution of recognized standing.
-Applicants from institutions outside of the US; applicants must hold the equivalent of US bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from institutions of recognized standing (either a three or four year undergraduate degree).
3. Entry Requirements for Doctoral Programs
To be considered for admissions applicants must have a bachelor’s degree. Undergraduate applicants in his/her senior year are welcome to apply.

i.Three letters of recommendation (at least one from an academic source). Recommendation letters must be submitted online through the online application system. Hard copy recommendation letters will not be accepted.

–International Applications
Adequate command of spoken and written English is required for admission. Applicants whose native language is other than English and who do not hold a Bachelor degree or its equivalent from an institution at which English is the language of instruction must submit TOEFL scores. Applicants are strongly encouraged to choose the TOEFL internet-based test when possible.
–Reapplicants
Applicants who applied last year are considered reapplicants. Reapplicants must file a new application, pay the full application fee, submit at least one new letter of recommendation from someone who has not previously submitted letters on your behalf, and submit transcripts covering any academic work undertaken since the time of last application. It is the policy of the Harvard Business School Doctoral Programs that prior applications and supporting materials will be considered along with new application materials.
-All programs require the General GRE test scores; some require the GRE Subject test scores (some programs allow the GMAT to substitute, see Program Details). Some programs require specific undergraduate courses, languages, or quantitative expertise.
4. English Language Requirements
In order to undertake a program of study here at the University, you will need to demonstrate that you have a good level of written and spoken English. You can demonstrate your level of English with IELTS, TOEFL or alternative qualifications.
